Trait ActivationPlan

Source
pub trait ActivationPlan: Send {
    type Ready: Send;
    type Rejection: Send;

    // Required method
    fn activate(
        self,
    ) -> impl Future<Output = Result<Self::Ready, Self::Rejection>> + Send;
}
Expand description

Concrete work required before a newly created worker may serve commands.

Bombay interprets the owned plan after creation and initialization settle. Atomic aggregates never invoke application activation work in their pure transitions.

Required Associated Types§

Source

type Ready: Send

Evidence returned when activation makes the worker ready.

Source

type Rejection: Send

Exact application rejection returned by activation.

Required Methods§

Source

fn activate( self, ) -> impl Future<Output = Result<Self::Ready, Self::Rejection>> + Send

Perform the selected activation work outside the worker behavior.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is not dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety", so this trait is not object safe.
